A Book of Ideas

I believe everyone has a lot of ideas. Some share it with everyone and some keep it to themselves. These ideas develop with experience, knowledge and different situations. When we encounter any idea which may be related to our personal life or professional life, we go too far with those thoughts, seeing the actual results of the idea. But I'm sure you would agree that we cannot implement all the ideas right then and there and hence we tend to keep them in our mind to use it at the right time.

In most of the cases when the right time comes, our mind is so occupied with a thousand other things, that we cannot recall the original idea. As a student you may have an idea as how to improve your scores, as a parent you may have an idea of what you could do for your kids, as a professional you may have ideas on how to improve your process / work or take an example of any field for that matter, all will go in vain if you are not able to remember the idea which you thought could be a game changer.

Here are a few tips to overcome such a situation:

1. Maintain a separate book for Ideas.
2. If you are a busy person, make a note of the idea on a mobile app and when you are back home, copy it to the Book of Ideas.
3. Do not just write the idea but also note down everything which may be required for your idea to work like tackling the Challenges, Consequences, Requirements etc.
4. Take a picture of all the ideas on your phone to look at it when you have nothing else to do. This will not only help you to have the idea at the top of your mind but also help you get a solution to your challenges or even generate new ideas.
5. Read all the ideas before you go off to sleep. This way your mind works while you rest, to find a way to make it work.

If you want your ideas to be executed, you will have to do a lot of research before you implement it. This is possible if your ideas are on the top of your mind. I hope the above points would be helpful in your life..
